Have you lost someone close to you in a way that was really hard? You’re not alone. Tyneside and Northumberland Mind offers compassionate trauma support for children and young people affected by suicide and traumatic death. Across 6 - 8 sessions we'll help you feel safe, heard and talk through what happened with trauma informed counselling support from our specialist teams. This support is available across the North East and North Cumbria region for those aged 6 - 24 years (24 - 29 years for those leaving care.)

Tyneside and Northumberland Mind's Thrive After Tackling Trauma (TATT) Service can accept self-referrals and referrals on behalf of an individual from a doctor (GP), teacher, someone from child services, or a trusted adult like a parent or carer.

Upon completing the referral form you can expect to recieve a response within two working days.

Children and young people aged 6 - 24 years (24 - 29 years for those leaving care) affected by suicide and traumatic death within the North East and North Cumbria region.
