Further info
Our youth work project offers youth clubs within Morpeth town centre, and activity programmes during school holidays. We also engage with senior youths to offer a social enterprise project.
Our housing project provides personalised support to young people in housing crisis, through the provision of supported accommodation. We have properties available in Morpeth and Ashington for 16 to 25 year olds. Formal referrals are required for this service.
For more information about us please see our website: Barnabas Safe & Sound. From our website you can check out our "Whats On" page, or access a range of "Resources" from the menu, including our referral information for supported accommodation.
Who can use this service?
Youth Work: young people aged 11 to 19 years can attend our clubs and activities.
Housing Services: young people aged 16 to 25 years can make a referral for our supported accommodation.
How are services delivered?
Our youth work is always face to face, mostly on-site, although we work in partnership with Morpeth Town Council to offer activities off-site, within the town during shool holidays.
Our housing project is accessed through formal referral only. We provide temporary accommodation for young people experiencing crisis, offering one to one support, promoting independence.
