Contact Morpeth Mental Health Group

Contact Morpeth Mental Health Group is a community-based charity supporting adults across South East Northumberland who are experiencing mental health challenges. Our aim is simple: to reduce isolation, promote wellbeing, and provide a safe, welcoming space where people feel heard, valued, and supported. We offer Free, confidential counselling delivered by trained and experienced volunteer counsellors.

  • We offer Free, confidential counselling delivered by trained and experienced volunteer counsellors. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, depression, bereavement, stress, or difficult life circumstances, our counselling service provides a compassionate and professional environment to talk things through at your own pace.

Alongside counselling, we provide a warm and friendly drop-in space where people can enjoy a cuppa, conversation, and connection. We run a range of free activities designed to build confidence, encourage social interaction, and support positive mental wellbeing. These include creative sessions, group activities, and informal peer support opportunities.

We understand that reaching out can feel difficult. That’s why we aim to create a non-judgemental, inclusive environment where everyone is treated with dignity and respect.

If you need someone to listen, support to move forward, or simply a welcoming place to belong, Contact Morpeth is here for you.
