Golf in Society

We put golf at the heart of local communities, by delivering tailored golf sessions for those living with chronic illnesses like Dementia, Parkinson’s disease, Loneliness, Depression and many more. Our team specialise in inspiring people living with a diagnosis to discover a happier healthier life. At Golf in Society we create essential, regular, reliable respite for unpaid carers, who can be confident to leave their loved one to enjoy the health and wellbeing benefits of playing golf. No golf experience is required and equipment can be provided.

Further info

We initially arrange a free taster session with no obligation for future sessions. The taster sessions lasts one hour and gives us the chance to meet you and asses your needs, try out a few golf activities and explain how our golf sessions can best support you. We will then send you a proposal to suit your needs. Golf sessions start from as little as £10 an hour. Carers and partners are not required to attend. The cost of future sessions for this service varies between £10 - £20 depending on the size of the group.

Who can use this service?

Anyone who has a diagnosis or who is feeling isolated.

How are services delivered?

Our sessions are delivered by Anthony, our 'golf activator' with the help of volunteers where appropriate.

Please get in touch if you or someone you know may benefit from our service.
