Blyth Tall Ship aims to be a life changing ‘Gangway To The Sea’, that brings hope and aspiration to Blyth and the surrounding region, through skills training and individual engagement, supported by a family of volunteers and trusted collaborative partnerships.Blyth Tall Ship delivers our Heritage Courses including, Beginners Woodworking, Heritage Knitting, Archiving and Conservation, Shanty Singing, Get Crafty, Heritage Cooking on a Budget, Health Walks and Harbour Sparks Programme from our two premises in Blyth.All courses are currently free. We also have some paid Heritage Woodworking Courses throughout the summer.

We are funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund and a number of other organisations such as the Port of Blyth, Northumberland County Council, Blyth Town Council, The Rotary Club of Blyth and Awards for All, the Sage Foundation and many of the charities administered by the Community Foundation.
Who can use this service?
The courses are open to all aged 16+, there is no upper age limit, with tuition and materials provided at no charge to participants.
How are services delivered?
The services are delivered face to face at one of our two premises in Blyth and also where required on board our Tall Ship, Williams 2.
