We are a vibrant community centre in the heart of Cowpen, Blyth with a wide range of activities, groups and services available to everyone. We have a low cost, 5-star rated community cafe on-site and a team waiting to greet you with a smile. Whether you're looking for fitness; mental health support; training or something creative, we have something for you.

We have sessions for babies, toddlers and a youth service for 7-13 year olds; groups for older poeple and everyone in between. We also now have our very own sensory garden and enclosed, secure dog field on site. Along with our community allotment, there is lots to do here at Briardale House.
We also run a fantastic meals on wheels service from our 5-star cafe, delivering homecooked, good value meals to your door. Please contact us for details.
Mondays (excluding bank holidays): Inner Light Wellbeing - Grief & Loss support group 11-12.30pm (2nd Mon of each month), Blyth Stroke Association: 1-3pm (every 2nd & 4th Mon), Believe Dance Academy: 4:30-5:30pm
Tuesday: Sit & Get Fit 10:30-11.30am, Alcoholics Anonymous: 11-12:30pm (open to all)
Briardale Art Class: 2-4pm (for all abilities), Believe Dance Academy: 4:15-6:15pm, Acrobatics 6:30-7:30pm
Wednesday: Friendship Club for over 70s: 10-2:30pm (please enquire about spaces), Believe Dance Academy: 4-6pm
Thursday: NRC Craft & Chat Group 10-12pm, Stop Smoking Clinic 1:30-4:30pm, Believe Dance Academy: 4-6pm, Youth Club: 6-7:30pm (7-13 years),
Friday: Companionship Cafe (3rd Fri of each month) everyone welcome, and our cafe is open everyday for good value home-cooked meals.
Northumberland Woodturner's Association: 6-9pm (2nd Fri only with some consecutive Saturdays from 9-4pm)
