Silx Employability Project for Young People 16 to 25

Silx Employability Project has been supporting young people aged 16 to 25 with employability support for the past 15 years. We provide free access to laptops, IT, and printing facilities, as well as free tea and coffee. We offer free accreditations, including CSCS card courses, CVs, and support with job applications. Our workers provide one-to-one support and will work with people on an individual basis to provide the required support.

We provide a user-friendly approach that allows access to every aspect of Employability Support from conducting a job search to applying for a job. We also provide accredited internal and external courses as well as training opportunities delivered by our organisation and our partners. We also offer volunteering and work experience opportunities as well as financial support with clothing and transport etc.

Who can use this service?

How are services delivered?

Any young people aged 16-25 who resides in South East Northumberland.

Delivered by experienced youth workers who provide support on every issue of employability from conducting a job search to applying for a job. Our workers provide one-to-one support and will work with people on an individual basis in order to provide the required support.
